We are a start-up software services firm based in U.S. and are focused on serving government, business clients, and the legal industry.

We are looking for bright enthusiastic candidates for long term association with our development team in Tacoma, WA.  We have a flexible and remote working environment and place an emphasis on productivity and customer satisfaction.

This is anticipated to be a three year project starting in October, with the bulk of the application development completed in the first year.

Job Description

Develop a custom document archiving system, with location based GIS mapping to architectural sites.   There is an existing prototype that needs to be commercialized by building out the web UI, and connecting to backend web services in  a virtualized server infrastructure.

 

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2012 64-bit Standard Edition

  • SQL Server Reporting Services

  • ArcGIS Server JavaScript API (AGS JS API)  version 3.8 and Dojo 1.9.1

  • ArcGIS Server 10.2.2

  • ESRI Developer Network (EDN) license for ArcGIS Server 10.2.2

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard (upgrading to Windows Server 2012 R2)

  • Microsoft IIS 7 (upgrading to version 8.5)

  • Adobe PDF Filter 11 for 64-bit platforms

  • HTML4 (references to HTML5 elements are found in the code set)

  • ASP .NET Web API 2

  • CSS mainly version 2.1 but also a few version 3 elements

  • Entity Framework 4.4

Optional but highly preferred skills

 

  • Developing high quality web UI front-ends

  • Leadership software design role(s)

  • System and performance testing experience

  • Project management experience

 

Any one of the following skills is mandatory

  • GIS API and spatial mapping

  • Experience in Javascript, CSS, HTML4, and HTML5

  • Experience in Java / Python / PHP

  • Experience in Microsoft SQL

Other General skills

  • Strong Problem solving capability

  • Should be able to do work and research individually

  • Should be a good team player

  • Have a stake in defining prescribed schedules and be accountable

  • High integrity – Must be honest, reliable, and dedicated
